There's a little story here for me to share. As you probably know, the Morganville Vampire series is a favorite for ALL OF LIFE, and trumps the pleasure of new book smell, double chocolate chocolate chip cookies, and Pretty Little Liars. Maybe even fictional kissing and giveaway winning. So, of course, when I saw the email in my inbox inquiring about blog tour participation, I nearly peed my brand new pair of ankle jeans a la Forever 21 in the middle of my GEO101 class. Not that appalling, no, but it would've been uber embarrassing. Then I forgot about it. I blame my professor. When it finally sunk in my head after being home for several hours, I responded as quickly as my pinkies would allow me... only to find out there were no more spots available. My heart sunk down to my stomach and then landed out my rear end. The moral of the story? Always answer your emails, even if you have to ninja your way passed your unfairly observant professor to the dark, cruddy recesses of the girl's bathroom. Oh. And never send me any either. BECAUSE APPARENTLY MY RESPONSE TIME SUCKS. In this one area of my life, I feel compelled to point out.
