My Big, Fat TBR Pile is a feature in which I showcase future reads that can be found on my to-read pile. It's like multiple "Waiting On..." Wednesdays rolled into one, showcasing a mix of books new, old, and upcoming. I typically do this type of post when I'm too excited for words and NEED to unleash a peek at my wishlist. Mayhap, you will find yourselves as excited for them as I am.

Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Arementrout
Release Date: October 18, 2011
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Release Date: December 6, 2011
Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Release Date: September 18, 2012
So, as you can see I've got a bit of a case of book lust for Armentrout's upcoming releases. They sound FANTASTIC. And I've already seen a few reviews for Half-Blood out that have been nothing but raving.
Blood Born by Jamie Manning
Release Date: April 24, 2012
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
ALREADY OUT
The Princess Curse by Merrie Haskell
ALREADY OUT
Alex at Electrifying Reviews mentioned Manning's Blood Born and actually did a cover reveal on his blog. From there I searched up the synopsis, and now I'm anxious to get my hands on a copy!
Okay, some of you may be like whaaa? You haven't read the Hunger Games yet? And, obviously, that would be a no. And the reason for that... Well, I just don't know. It could be the hype. But now, with the movie on the way, I want to read it. I have a thing where I can't read a book after I've watched the movie. Hence why I haven't picked up copies for I Am Number Four, Beastly, The Last Song, for example. I know, I know, the books are better than the movies, but it's just this thing I have.
Thanks to Small Review, The Princess Curse got put onto my radar. I've never read anything about the Twelve Dancing Princesses--I don't even really know the original story. *gasp* Yeah, I know, that's probably very bad. But, with the way Smalls described the experience of reading it, I'm now super excited for it!
Undeadly by Michele Vail
Release Date:February 28, 2012
Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter
Release Date: January, 2012
Deception by Lee Nichols
ALREADY OUT
Okay, I put Undeadly up purely for cover lust reasons, evidently because there's no synopsis out yet.
I was surprised to have put up Goddess Interrupted, just because I didn't looove The Goddess Test. But this cover really, really makes me want to continue with this series. I'm a little wary of the inclusion of Persephone considering the way things ended in book one--love triangle business isn't very appealing to me. I hope that's not where this is leading!
Because of a few recommendations and from what I've seen, I've been pushed toward Deception, and I have to say, it sounds AMAZING. I don't have a thing for ghosts, but I read the occasional ghost story. Deception seems unlike anything I've read before and I'm excited for the romance especially. :)
And that's it for this week's glimpse into my TBR pile. I look forward to showing you more of what's in My Big, Fat TBR Pile.
