I'd also just like to note that Kristi's IMM vlogs are what inspired me to start my blog.
She made it look like so much fun! And now I know why.

"A Midsummer's Nightmare? Robin Goodfellow. Puck. Summer Court prankster, King Oberon's right hand, bane of many a faery queen's existence—and secret friend to Prince Ash of the Winter Court. Until one girl's death came between them, and..." (Finish reading at Goodreads)
I ADORE Puck. I may have been rooting for Ash the entire time, but that was because I secretly wanted Puck all to myself. Meghan and Ash are great together. Meghan can have Mr. Tall, Dark, and Brooding, while I get swept away by my favorite prankster. I WANT to be in his head, read his narration. I'm expecting to laugh a great deal.

"Enter a world of fierce wolves, exhilarating magic and romance...
I'm not going to lie - I'm intrigued and curious about this novel. It sounds fantastic! Dark magic, and an epic on-going war taking place, a heroine with a questionable and significant past. I live for this kind of stuff! I can't wait to see what Samantha has cooked up.
Vampire Free Style by Jenika Ioffreda
"...A cat that was able to speak with stars.
...A witch boy who was learning to fly.
...An ancient necklace.
...A Prince who lost his Princess.
... A vampire looking for his memories.
...An endless love.
The most tender tale told from the roof of a city."
I'm a tad skeptical about reviewing these, because they're comic books, and I've never been known for my liking them. Truth is, I haven't read very many. If anything, I've only ever indulged in manga a time or two. (It wouldn't be smart to get into manga seriously as my budget can only stretch so far.) But, I couldn't resist the drawing. And the story itself is intriguing, so I'll just have to see. Jenika was kind enough to send me the first five issues, and a brief note. I hope to enjoy the series.

OMG, I CANNOT wait to sit down and read Sleight. I'm actually thinking of reading it this weekend. Not sure though, as I've got other books to get to first. Still, I can't help but want to ignore and bypass all other selections to get to this one. It SOUNDS amazing, it LOOKS amazing, and from what I've read around, it IS amazing. Plan to see a review soon. I have a funny feeling that this one is a keeper, a cause to run to your local bookstore on foot without shoes. Yeah, I'm expecting it to be THAT good.

This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
Stork by Wendy Delsol (My Review)
Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier
Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs
What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen (Not pictured here)
I'm kind of going through a bit of Sarah Dessen phase. Whenever I head into the library, I find myself instantly looking under her name. There's just something about her stories that always draw me in. This Lullaby's ending disappointed me. If you read my review, you'll know that I LOVED Stork. I haven't found myself wanting to read Ruby Red just yet. And Tempest Rising I just finished like two days ago. Really liked that one. (Expecting a different reaction? I've already mentioned that I'm obsessed with mermaids these days.)

Surprisingly I'm having a harder time strapping myself down to read this book. Yet, at the same time I find myself enjoying it more than some of her other books. As you can see I'm not THAT far in, so I'm still on the fence as to my feelings for it. Hopefully, a desire to finish it will strike up this weekend.

Totally agree on Puck/Ash/Meghan. I love Ash and Meghan together now, but I want Puck for myself :)
